Sander Smeets

Sander Smeets is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in local governance and environmental management. Since 2010, Sander Smeets has served as Wethouder and Fractievoorzitter for D66 Velsen at GEMEENTE VELSEN, managing portfolios in Ruimtelijke Ordening and Sociale Zaken. Sander Smeets has also held positions as Gemeenteraadslid, overseeing various portfolios, and as a member of the rekenkamer and chairman of the John van Dijk Fonds, focusing on youth engagement in politics.
