George Claessen

George Claessen is an experienced information advisor and architect currently serving in dual roles at Gemeente Venray and Gemeente Horst aan de Maas since October 2022. Prior to these positions, George held the role of strategic information advisor at Gemeente Maastricht, focusing on the vision and strategy for information management, and served as an information management advisor at Gemeente Venlo. George has accumulated extensive experience in various advisory and management positions across multiple municipalities, including managing projects in information security, organizational development, and safety policy. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Criminology from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
