Harm Mark Pit

Harm Mark Pit (Ph.D) is an Assistant Professor of International Tax Law at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen since September 2023, and serves as a CDA Duoraadslid for gemeente Waterland. With extensive experience in the field, Pit is also a Process Coordinator for mutual agreement and arbitration procedures in the MAP team at Belastingdienst, and a Co-Author of "Wegwijs in Internationaal en Europees Belastingrecht." Previously, Pit held key positions at OECD as a Tax Policy Advisor for the FTA MAP Forum, focusing on BEPS Action 14 implementation and international tax dispute resolution. An academic background includes a cum laude Ph.D. in Tax Law from the University of Groningen, complemented by graduate and undergraduate degrees in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, and Business Administration.
