Sean Tol

Sean Tol is an experienced political figure currently serving as Fractievoorzitter for GroenLinks since November 2015, where the role includes coordinating the municipal council faction's activities and representing the party in the media and public engagements. In March 2022, Sean Tol was installed as a council member in the municipality of Edam-Volendam, transitioning from a prior position as a support faction member that involved community engagement and political strategy. Additionally, since October 2022, Sean Tol has been working as a Policy Officer for Sustainability in the municipality of Waterland, focusing on the energy transition while managing a diverse range of responsibilities in a smaller municipality. Previous experience includes a position as a Policy Officer for Economic Affairs at the Municipality of Hoorn, where research was conducted on commercial vacancies in the city center. Sean Tol holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Governance and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, both from the University of Amsterdam.
