Karin Brookman

Karin Brookman is an experienced policy advisor in the social domain, currently serving as Beleidsadviseur Sociaal Domein at gemeente West Maas en Waal since July 2018, focusing on societal development, WMO, prevention, elderly care, and housing. Previously, Karin held roles such as Voorzitter ondernemingsraad at BONVUE and Adviseur Sociaal Domein, contributing to public sector consultancy. Karin’s strong background includes positions at gemeente Vught, where responsibilities encompassed elderly policy, subsidy allocation, and the development of a dementia-friendly community, and gemeente Waddinxveen, where strategic advisory on decentralization and local policy development was key.
