Samuel Povar is an accomplished data engineer with extensive experience in data management and business intelligence. Currently serving at Gemineye since February 2023, Samuel previously held data engineering roles at The Church of Jesus Christ from July 2021 to February 2023. Prior to these positions, Samuel was a Business Intelligence Specialist at Brigham Young University from September 2019 to May 2021 and worked as an HR Data Analyst at the BYU Office of Information Technology from April 2018 to April 2019, where expertise in Tableau and VBA automation was demonstrated. Early career experiences include serving as an office assistant at Treasure Valley Physical Therapy and founding Tortuga Hawaiian Shave Ice, significantly increasing sales in the initial months of operation. Samuel holds a Master's degree in Information System Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Brigham Young University.
