Philip Liang

Philip Liang has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. Philip started their career in 2005 as an IT Specialist at Yulon IT Corporation, where they were responsible for software systems development and maintenance. In 2006, they joined True Info Tech as an Engineer, providing technical support for MiPlatform in Taiwan. Later that same year, they moved to Swarchy Inc as a Senior Engineer, developing and managing a variety of websites using Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Ubuntu. In 2011, Philip became an IT Consultant at Asia Pacific Financial Consulting, providing professional advice and handling customer matters. In 2013, they took on the role of Technical Manager at SYSTEX, where they built, developed, and maintained a WEB-based Linux administration application. Finally, in 2015, Philip joined Gemini Data Inc. as Director of Engineering, where they communicated with different teams to confirm requirements, developed and improved the product, and researched and evaluated new technologies, languages, and tools. Philip also served as Principal Engineer, where they had a good understanding of microservices and container orchestration with DCOS, developed a Python-based API gateway, and maintained microservices written by Golang.

Philip Liang obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Topone International Engineering Consultant Ltd between 1996 and 2000.
