Pol Stafford

Pol Stafford has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

Pol is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Gemini Legal since September 2021.

Prior to this, they were the Owner of CeltTech from 2000 to October 2021.

From 2016 to March 2021, Pol worked as the Director of Technology at Partners in School Innovation, where they developed a data warehouse, data pipelines, and a secure reporting system. Pol also played a key role in upgrading the organization's infrastructure to a more secure and stable platform.

As the CTO of Embodiment International from October 2011 to May 2013, they developed a web presence and created the non-profit Embodiment Foundation. Pol collaborated with Wendy and Tiphani to enhance their coach training into a world-class offering.

Pol founded Living Aikido in September 2002, where they served as Sensei and Founder. In 2011, they handed over the leadership of the dojo to their head student and focused on teaching and supporting the community.

From January 2002 to October 2009, Pol was the Owner/Developer of UPSoft, where they provided quality software, technical training, and process evaluation to school reform groups and districts. Pol worked with major organizations such as the Stupski Foundation, Jackson Mississippi Public Schools, the Gates Foundation, and Harvard.

In addition, Pol has served as a Board Member of Pathwork of California from 2001 to 2005 and held the role of Vice President Client Relations at CaseTrakker from 1998 to 2002.

Pol began their career as a Lead Engineer at IMA Technologies in 1992, where they worked until 1998.

Overall, Pol has demonstrated expertise in software development, technology leadership, education reform, and community building.

Pol Stafford earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Pol then pursued personal development studies at Pathwork of California from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Philosophy from University College Cork, where they were enrolled from 1990 to 1991.
