Pablo Diaz

Pablo Diaz is an experienced mechanical engineer and telescope manager at Gemini Observatory since September 2000, where responsibilities include the development of maintenance programs to ensure telescope reliability and operational readiness. Prior experience includes a role as a maintenance engineer at Finning Chile, where Pablo implemented a plant maintenance program and led a maintenance crew, achieving ISO 9002 certification. Additionally, Pablo worked at the Robotic Center of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, contributing to the development of an innovative walking robot. Pablo holds multiple diplomas in asset management and project direction, along with a degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
