Shaun Blackburn

Shaun Blackburn is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in information security and advisory roles. Currently serving as Deputy CISO and Director of Information Security at Gemini, Shaun has previously held key positions including Head of Detection Engineering, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management at Airbnb. Additionally, Shaun has contributed as an Advisor at Opus Security and as a Venture Advisor at YL Ventures. Shaun's expertise is recognized within the industry through membership on the CISO Advisory Council at Amazon Web Services. Shaun holds a CISO Executive Certificate in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently engaged in studies at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
