Ian Munro

Ian Munro is a seasoned professional in buying and sourcing with extensive experience in the retail and textile industries. As the Head of Programming at Gemporia Partnership since February 2021, Ian specializes in TV shopping and retail strategies. Previously, Ian served as a Soft Crafts Buyer at Hochanda and as a Senior Buyer for Sewing Quarter at Immediate Media Co, focusing on fabric, sewing, and quilting. Ian also held the position of Sourcing Manager at George at Asda, overseeing the sourcing and management of clothing goods, and was a Senior Buyer at Dimensions (MWUK Ltd), responsible for textiles across various sectors. Ian's career began as an Assistant Buyer at Next Ltd and was also marked by entrepreneurship as the Owner of Munro Textile Agency from 2001 to 2012. Ian holds a B-Tec Diploma in Business Studies from Solihull College of Technology.
