Jon Bramley

Jon Bramley is an accomplished communications executive with extensive experience leading high-profile initiatives in the education and sports sectors. Currently serving as Vice-President of Communications at GEMS Education since August 2020, Jon oversees operations across eight countries and has successfully managed complex projects, including a significant multi-billion dollar investment transaction. Previous roles include Editor for the International Olympic Committee during Paris 2024, Vice President of Communications for Expo 2020 Dubai, and Director of Communications for the Volvo Ocean Race. Jon also brings a strong editorial background from Reuters, where senior roles included Global Sports News Editor and London Bureau Chief, as well as early experience as Assistant Sports Editor at Mirror Group Newspapers. Jon holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and has a professional qualification in NCTJ Journalism.
