Phillip Hyun

Phillip Hyun is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Board Member for Energy Systems Group since June 2024, and as an Investor and Operation Committee Member for Venezia FC since April 2024, Phillip co-founded and held the position of Vice Chairman and Board Member at Gen.G esports since July 2017. Additionally, Phillip has been a Board Member for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund since November 2015. As President & CEO of Nexad Systems Inc. since January 2002, Phillip focuses on management and board advisory services, particularly in technology. Previous roles include CEO of Gamevice and strategic advisor for Ardius, which was acquired by Gusto, alongside a significant tenure at PacificWest from July 2006 to June 2024 as Co-Founder and Executive Board Member, establishing the company as a leader in energy solutions. Phillip also contributed as an Executive Board Member for Boulevard, Inc. during its operations from 2014 to 2017. Phillip holds a BA in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
