Jonathan Goldstein

Jon Goldstein has over 20 years of financial and reporting accounting experience, specializing in the private equity and real estate industries. Jon has extensive knowledge of private equity and real estate fund accounting, complex fund structures, waterfalls and carried interest accounting, regulatory compliance, partner allocations, and general partner accounting.

Prior to joining Gen II, Jon was a Controller at GTIS Partners, where he focused on the day-to-day fund accounting and reporting of numerous international real estate funds. Prior to GTIS Partners, Jon was an Assistant Controller at Fortress Investment Group, where he managed a team of professionals specializing in the accounting and reporting of multiple private equity funds. Jon graduated from Cornell University with a dual degree in Accounting and Applied Resource and Managerial Economics. He is licensed in New York (inactive) as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
