Process Development Engineer at Genalyte

Angela Maciel has worked in various roles in the engineering and manufacturing sector since 2011. Angela began as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego, before taking on a Process Engineer Intern role at Genentech in 2012. In the same year, they became a Manufacturing Support Technician at Tem Systems (ROTEM). Angela then moved up to a Manufacturing Engineer role at the same company in 2014. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer II at Instrumentation Laboratory, A Werfen Company, where they led continuous improvement efforts and acted as the main investigator during non-conformance investigations. Most recently, they have been working as a Process Development Engineer at Genalyte, Inc. since 2022.

Angela Maciel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego between 2009 and 2013.
