Claudia Jiménez-López, Ph.D.

Claudia Jiménez-López, Ph.D. has extensive experience in research and laboratory management. Claudia began their career in 2009 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). In 2014, they joined Gene by Gene as an Assistant Laboratory Director and Research Scientist.

Claudia Jiménez-López, Ph.D. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology and Chemistry from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2008. Claudia also graduated from Sagrado Corazon, Trujillo-Peru in 2001 with a High School degree.
