Andreas Kaufmann's work experience begins in 2007 at the Biozentrum, University of Basel, where they worked as a Postdoctoral fellow. Andreas'sresponsibilities included developing molecular tools for fluorescence microscopy, maintaining microscopes, providing user support, and managing network administration.

From 2009 to 2011, Kaufmann worked at EMBL as a Postdoctoral fellow. Here, they focused on analyzing MAPK signaling using high content screening and conducting genome-wide analysis of protein degradation in live yeast cells.

In 2011, Kaufmann joined ETH Zurich as a Staff scientist for High Content Screening. Andreas held this role until 2013, during which they contributed to the advancement of the field.

In 2013, Kaufmann began working at Genedata as a Scientific Consultant. Andreas provided scientific consulting services in the area of biologics drug discovery and development. After three years, they transitioned into the role of US Head Project Management, where they led the Genedata Biologics project management team in the United States. Later, they became the Head of Scientific Account Management Biologics.

Andreas Kaufmann obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel, graduating in 2003. Andreas then went on to pursue their passion for the subject and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel in 2007.
