Marisa Fernández Cachón

Marisa Fernández Cachón is an experienced professional in the fields of bioinformatics and software product development, currently serving as the eLearning Product Owner for Genedata Profiler since October 2016. In this role, Marisa has successfully led the complete lifecycle of eTraining products, ensuring alignment with business objectives through collaboration with various stakeholders. Prior to this position, Marisa worked as a Scientific Consultant and Technical Sales representative at Genedata Profiler, engaging in pre-sales activities and providing post-sales support to customers. Marisa's career began at Sanofi as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where Marisa managed a team to establish next-generation sequencing technologies and conducted research related to diabetes treatment. Marisa holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology & Bioinformatics from The University of Freiburg and has additional degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona.
