Katie Fritinger

Katie Fritinger, MS, CGC, is a seasoned professional in genetic counseling and medical science liaison roles, currently serving as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at GeneDx since October 2022. Previously, Katie worked at Sema4 from June 2019 to October 2022, providing expertise in genetic testing solutions and educational support to sales teams and customers. As a founding board member and Secretary/Treasurer for the Ohio Association of Genetic Counselors from September 2017 to December 2021, Katie contributed to the advancement of the field. Earlier experience includes positions at GeneDx, where Katie increased sample volume and revenue across various genetic programs, and roles at Integrated Genetics and Genzyme Genetics, providing comprehensive genetic counseling. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology from Wittenberg University.
