Altovise Ewing-Crawford

Altovise Ewing-Crawford is an accomplished professional in the field of genetics and health equity, currently serving as the Director of Global Health Impact & Population Science at Genentech from June 2020 to April 2025, focusing on health outcomes and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as Portfolio Leader in Global Health Equity & Population Science and Director-At-Large on the Board of Directors for the National Society of Genetic Counselors. Additionally, Ewing-Crawford has worked as a Medical Science Liaison at 23andMe and as a Certified Cancer Genetic Counselor at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where significant contributions were made in developing counseling programs and educating stakeholders on genetic testing. Ewing-Crawford holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from Howard University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rhodes College.
