Amanda Lorentzian, PhD, has extensive experience in research and development within the fields of biochemistry, proteomics, and genomics. From September 2017 to May 2023, Amanda served as a PhD candidate at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, focusing on identifying therapeutic targets for pediatric cancers through advanced sequencing and cell imaging techniques. Currently, Amanda is a postdoctoral researcher at Genentech, specializing in single-cell proteomics within the Department of Microchemistry, Proteomics, Lipidomics, and NGS. Amanda's earlier roles include quality assurance management at Youngevity International Inc., research and development at Human Longevity, Inc., and lab technician positions at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of British Columbia.
