Riddhi Jain

Researcher at Verses

Riddhi Jain has held a number of roles in the past seven years. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at The Education University of Hong Kong, working with Dr. Ronnel King. During this time, they independently collected data in Hong Kong and analyzed it using SPSS. In 2017, they joined The University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant and Lab Coordinator at the Psychopathology, Affective Neuroscience & Decision-Making Laboratory (PANDM Lab) and the Experimental Psychopathology Laboratory (EPL). In this role, they collaborated with Dr. Jin's colleagues in Shenzhen to examine decision-making using trans-cranial EEG and autonomously conducted a study examining the relationship between associative learning, fear generalisation and attentional breadth. Additionally, they coded for a computer task using Python and collected data using the EEG machine at the Consciousness & Metacognition Laboratory. In 2020, they were a Teaching Assistant for a Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience course at Torhea Education Group. Finally, in 2021, they worked as a Developer at the Nested Minds Network and as President at Middle Common Room (MCR), St Anne's College, University of Oxford. Riddhi is currently a Researcher at VERSES.

Riddhi Jain completed a BSocSc in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science at The University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2020. Riddhi is currently pursuing a DPhil in Experimental Psychology with a focus on Computational Psychopathology at the University of Oxford, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
