Barath Udayasuryan

Barath Udayasuryan, PhD, is an accomplished scientist currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Genentech, focusing on Infectious Diseases and Host-Microbe Interactions since March 2024. Prior to this role, Barath served as a Senior Scientist at Vivodyne, where significant contributions were made in microfluidic device manufacturing and optimization for high-throughput culture systems between June 2022 and December 2023. Barath's educational background includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Tech (2017-2022) and a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2011-2013), alongside a B.Tech in Biotechnology from PSG College of Technology (2007-2011).
