Cori Davis

Chief People Officer at Genentech

Cori Davis is the current Chief People Officer at Genentech. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Human Resources from January 2009 to December 2018. In this role, they led the HR team for the 5,000-employee U.S. Business consisting of all pharmaceuticals sales and marketing functions, U.S. Medical Affairs, U.S. Government Affairs, and Product Strategy. Davis also supported a large organization change effort aimed at transforming all elements of the U.S. business operating model (structure, process, governance, culture, and people) to increase agility in addressing patient and customer needs.

From 2007 to 2008, Davis served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington & Seattle Pacific University. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Senior Manager of Organization Development & Learning at Microsoft. And from 2003 to 2005, they were the Manager of Human Capital at Deloitte Consulting. Prior to that, they were an Instructor at Michigan State University from 1999 to 2002 and an Organization Development & Learning Consultant at Ford & Associates from 1998 to 2003.

Cori Davis has a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University, an MA in Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University, and a BA in Psychology from University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Their manager is Alexander Hardy, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Scott Kohler - Senior Director, Corporate Groups & Employee Relations, Allen Napetian - Vice President and Head of Global External Quality, Genentech & Roche, and Levi Garraway - Chief Medical Officer & EVP, Head of Global Product Development.
