Flora Hinz

Flora Hinz is a Principal Scientist at Genentech, where they have held various roles including Senior Scientific Researcher and Scientist IV. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCLA, focusing on puromycin sensitive aminopeptidase as a drug target. Flora completed their PhD in Neuroscience at the California Institute of Technology and began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cornell University. Prior to UCLA, Flora was a Graduate Student at the Max-Planck-Institute for Brain Research, where they investigated protein synthesis in larval zebrafish.
