Huy Ngo is a Clinical Pharmacology Scientist and CERSI Fellow at Genentech since August 2021, specializing in population pharmacokinetic modeling and clinical pharmacology studies. Prior to this role, Huy Ngo served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, where research focused on the effects of transporters on drug-induced liver injuries in Professor Kathy Giacomini's lab. Additionally, Huy Ngo held a Postdoctoral Scholar position at ATOM Accelerating Therapeutics for Opportunities in Medicine from January 2019 to August 2020. Huy Ngo obtained a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Kentucky, where over five years of research involved designing synthetic routes and synthesizing numerous enzyme inhibitors and antimicrobial compounds, as well as conducting structure-activity relationship studies. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Huy Ngo provided guidance in medicinal and bioorganic chemistry courses. Huy Ngo's educational background includes a PharmD from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a BS in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from San José State University.
