Kimberly Gold is a seasoned legal professional specializing in privacy law with extensive experience in leading privacy programs and compliance initiatives. Currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Associate General Counsel at Genentech since August 2020, Kimberly Gold oversees the organization’s privacy program and strategies regarding data privacy across various sectors, including personalized healthcare and AI. Prior to Genentech, Kimberly Gold worked at Reed Smith LLP as Chief Privacy Officer and Partner, where advisory services were provided on privacy compliance, cybersecurity, and complex transactions. Additional roles include Senior Counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright, where Kimberly Gold developed compliance programs for HIPAA and GDPR, and a Senior Associate at Mintz and Pfizer. Kimberly Gold holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
