Lijun Yao

Lijun Yao is a highly skilled computational biologist with over eight years of research experience in cancer genomics and immunology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Genentech, Lijun leads projects focused on prognostic biomarker discovery and CAR-T therapy target discovery using advanced machine learning techniques. Previously, Lijun completed a PhD in Human & Statistical Genetics at Washington University in St. Louis and a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Southern California. Lijun’s work has resulted in multiple first-author publications and significant contributions to high-impact journals.
