Meliana Gallup

Meliana Gallup is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience at Genentech since June 2003. Currently serving as Senior Group Director in Pharma Technical Regulatory, Meliana oversees a team of 10 Global Regulatory Directors, executing innovative CMC regulatory strategies for Roche/Genentech’s products. Previous roles include Director of Regional US Head for Global MSAT, where Meliana directed technical product lifecycle management and improved manufacturing processes. Meliana also held the position of Associate Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, leading process improvements for commercial products, and worked as Sr. Manager to establish a technology transfer group with a $50M budget. Meliana’s career began at Johnson & Johnson and the University of California, Berkeley as a Research Associate. Meliana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
