Michael Jones

Michael Jones is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Quality Engineering & Validation at Genentech since September 2014. With a diverse background, Michael has held roles such as Sr Technical Manager Validation and Interim Head of Quality Engineering & Validation, providing technical quality oversight and guidance on risk documentation. Prior experience includes project management at VERSA Engineering & Technology and roles at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, where Michael facilitated the development of groundbreaking microsphere technology and managed a high-speed cartridge filling line. Earlier positions at Criterion Catalyst and Eli Lilly & Co involved process engineering, project management, and significant contributions to improving manufacturing efficiency. Michael holds a Doctor of Law degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
