Miguel Reyes

Principal Scientist at Genentech

Miguel Reyes is a Senior Scientist at Genentech since July 2022, with previous positions as a Graduate Researcher and Postdoctoral Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from March 2017 to October 2022. Early in their career, Miguel gained research experience as a Research Intern in the Microsystems Laboratory at EPFL, the Goda Lab at The University of Tokyo, and at A*STAR where Miguel developed assays for DNA detection. Miguel's undergraduate research at the National University of Singapore focused on nanomedicine and nanorobotics, leading to innovations in SERS detection schemes for viruses. Education includes a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
