Nnamdi Ihuegbu

Nnamdi Ihuegbu, PhD, currently serves as Director of Business Development in the Pharma Partnering Group at Genentech since July 2020. Prior to this role, Nnamdi held several positions at Guardant Health, including Director of Business Development and Head of Alliance Management, where responsibilities included B2B relationship management and partnership development for immuno-oncology drug portfolios. Nnamdi's experience also includes serving as Sr. Manager of Product Marketing, focusing on oncology diagnostics, and working as NGS Global Product Manager at Life Technologies, where the commercialization of Next Generation Sequencing products was a primary focus. Early career contributions include managing strategic alliances at Life Technologies and participating in the Kauffman Foundation Fellowship for Life Science Entrepreneurship at Washington University School of Medicine. Nnamdi's foundation in computational systems biology and bioinformatics is backed by a PhD from Washington University in St. Louis and a BSc/MSc in Computer Science and Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.
