Paul Garza

Paul Garza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality control and manufacturing operations within the biopharmaceutical industry. Since August 2005, Paul has held various leadership roles at Genentech, currently serving as Senior Director of Quality Control, and previously as Associate Director for Oceanside Site Compliance and Recovery Operations. Noteworthy achievements include establishing the Manufacturing Initiatives Group and managing a large-scale cell culture operation. Prior experience includes key positions at Biogen Idec, IDEC, SyStemix Inc., and Scios, where Paul contributed significantly to cell culture process development and manufacturing. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School.
