Samira Jamalian is currently a Principal Scientist at Genentech, a position held since 2022. Previously, Samira worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2017 to 2019, specializing in agent-based modeling and cancer systems biology. Prior to this, Samira held roles at Genentech as a Senior Scientist and Scientist from 2021 to 2022 and as an Associate Scientist focusing on clinical pharmacology. Samira earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering from Imperial College London (2013-2016), a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2005-2010).
