Seemab Shaikh

Seemab Shaikh is currently the Director of Platform Development at Genentech, where they provide a vision for the implementation and development of the next-generation platform for the Allogeneic CAR-T product portfolio. Previously, Seemab served as Associate Director of Upstream Process Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., managing a team focused on mRNA therapies and tech transfer activities. Seemab's extensive experience includes roles at Merck, where they advanced biosimilar technologies, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they improved productivity in the production of Rheumatoid Arthritis therapies. Seemab began their career as a Graduate Assistant at SUNY Upstate Medical University, specializing in molecular biology techniques.
