Sonia Khaligh has extensive experience in environmental health and safety management, currently serving as an EHS Senior Program Manager at Genentech since May 2004, where responsibilities include ownership of the Chemical HazCom Program for multiple facilities and implementation of HazCom 2012 and GHS. Prior to this role, Sonia held positions at Rhodia Inc. from October 1991 to May 2004, including Principal EHS Program Manager and Senior Scientist II/PSM Program Manager, overseeing an analytical and environmental laboratory and coordinating process safety management for a sulfuric acid production plant. Sonia holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from San José State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
