Vincent Yau is a Principal Data Scientist at Genentech since February 2018, leading efforts in epidemiology within the Personalized Health Care function of Product Development on various strategic teams. With experience as an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension since June 2014, Vincent has developed and taught courses in epidemiologic methods. Prior to Genentech, Vincent served as Senior Manager of Statistical Analytics at McKesson, where management of extensive pharmacy claims databases contributed to substantial business growth. Additionally, at Kaiser Permanente, Vincent was a Staff Scientist in the Autism Research Program, authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications and analyzing comprehensive data sets to explore autism-related issues. Vincent holds a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master's in Biostatistics from UC Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
