Vishnu Mohanan

Vishnu Mohanan is a Principal Scientist at Genentech, bringing over ten years of expertise in drug target discovery, focusing on complex genetic diseases such as Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and Glioblastoma. Previously, they served as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and held various positions at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Delaware, where they contributed significantly to understanding inflammatory bowel disease through innovative research methods, including CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and organoid models. Vishnu earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Organ System Biological Sciences, along with an MBA, from the University of Delaware, and a B.Tech. in Biotechnology from Anna University.
