Xiaoyun Yang is currently a Principal Scientist at Genentech, specializing in Bioanalytical Sciences. Previously, they held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Gilead Sciences, where they led the development and validation of clinical biomarker assays, and as a Scientist at Amgen, focusing on biomarker strategy for the cardiometabolic pipeline. Xiaoyun also gained extensive experience in IVD assay development at BD Biosciences and Bio-Rad Laboratories. They earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Utah and a BS in Biotechnology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they are currently enrolled.
