Sebastjan Gergeta

Sebastjan Gergeta has held various roles throughout their work experience.

Sebastjan started their career in 2003 as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where they worked until 2004.

In 2004, they joined Pivovarna Union d.d. as the Head of Internal Audit, and they held this position until 2007.

From 2007 to 2014, they served as the General Director at Birra Peja JSC.

In 2014, they joined Pivovarna Laško Union, where they initially served as the Commercial Director for Export markets until 2016. Sebastjan then transitioned to become the Commercial Control Manager until 2019.

Since 2019, Sebastjan has been working at GenePlanet. Sebastjan started as the Operations Director and held this role until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Chief Financial Officer, and they currently hold the position of Chief Strategy and M&A Officer since 2023.

Sebastjan Gergeta holds a Master's Degree in Financial management from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, which they completed between 2002 and 2005. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Banking from the same institution, studying from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, Sebastjan Gergeta undertook a short-term program at Università degli Studi di Siena, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance in 2001.
