Hernan Gonzalez

Hernan Gonzalez MD, PhD, serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery and Research Director in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since May 2001, specializing in head and neck endocrine surgery, particularly in recurrent and locally advanced thyroid cancer. In addition to this role, Hernan Gonzalez is the Founder of GeneproDX and AxelerateMD, and has co-founded the Biomedical Research Consortium, where Hernan acts as Director and Board Member since March 2008. Hernan Gonzalez also holds a position as a Board Member at Thani Therapeutics since May 2022. Hernan Gonzalez's educational background includes an MD degree in Medicine and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as a Clinical Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston.
