Alexandra Terrana

Alexandra Terrana is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Instruction and Head of Instruction for North America at General Assembly since February 2020, where responsibilities include sourcing, hiring, training, and developing instructors across technology and business programs. Alexandra is also a Council Member at the Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology and previously held leadership roles at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, overseeing programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurship skills. Past experience includes teaching in Chicago Public Schools, working as a Professional Fellow at WorldChicago, and positions in client services and youth development. Alexandra holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Latin American Studies from the University of Delaware.
