Brett Jones

Brett Jones is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as the External Aerodynamics and Aircraft Performance Engineering Supervisor at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since January 2018. In this role, Brett is responsible for flight test planning, execution, and data analysis related to the MQ-9 aircraft. Previous experience includes working at Boeing-Phantom Works as an Advanced Weapons and Missile Systems Aerodynamics Engineer, where Brett led freestream aerodynamics efforts for various advanced weapon programs and managed extensive wind tunnel testing. Early career roles included internships at Boeing, focused on structures engineering and reliability testing. Brett holds a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
