Evin Powell

Evin Powell is a seasoned Composite Manufacturing Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, with a career starting in June 2011. Expertise includes aerospace composites, design for manufacturability, and lean manufacturing techniques, along with project management experience in multi-year composite materials qualification efforts. Evin has implemented automated production processes and developed large-scale apparatuses to enhance manufacturing efficiency while utilizing software tools like Solidworks and Pro-Engineering. Prior experiences include participation as a team member with the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers at UCSD, where a third-place finish was achieved in the Formula Hybrid competition, and roles as a shuttle driver and tennis instructor, acquiring valuable leadership and business skills.
