Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an experienced cybersecurity and technology professional, currently serving as a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer and Cybersecurity Architect at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems since September 2018. Previous roles include Sr. Network Administrator at Niemann Foods, Inc. and Advanced Technologies Consultant at ETC ComputerLand. Michael's career began as an IT Manager at Adams Telephone Co-Operative, followed by managerial positions at Kirlin Super-Net, Inc. and TechSolve, as well as a role as an Internet Technical Service Representative at Supra Telecom. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Springfield. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Doctor of Information Technology at Capella University, expected to complete in June 2025.
