Robert Stone

Robert Stone is currently a Program Manager at General Atomics since July 2023. Previously, from June 2012 to July 2023, Robert served at Naval Reactors in various roles, including Group Head and Program Manager for CVN Nuclear Reactor Servicing, overseeing a team of engineers and managing regulatory oversight for nuclear reactor fueling operations. Robert also held the position of Business Manager for the Reactor Refueling Division, where responsibilities included managing technical work programs and long-range planning for significant budgets. Robert's early career includes serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy, focusing on technical and regulatory oversight of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University, a Graduate Certificate in Nuclear Engineering from Bettis Reactor Engineering School, and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Engineering Management at Old Dominion University.
