Johnson Yang is an investor at General Catalyst. Prior to joining General Catalyst, Yang was an Associate at Insight Partners where they made 10+ investments in leading software and internet businesses such as LeanTaas (Bain Cap), SentinelOne (IPO), SalesLoft (Vista), Pipedrive (Vista), Aqua Security, CentralReach, TradingView, etc.

Post-investment, Yang collaborated closely with the executive teams at Insightful Science (FKA GraphPad), Gainsight, Anaqua (Astorg), Conga (Apttus), and other portcos on strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Prior to Insight Partners, Yang was at SpotHero as Sales Operations. Before that, they were an Analyst at Apollo Global Management LLC in Credit Investing.

Johnson Yang attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Strategy. Prior to that, they attended Livonia Stevenson High School.
