Peter Pritchard has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Peter started their career in 1988 at General Electric, where they served in multiple roles, including HQ sales, marketing manager, sales, and engineer, and was responsible for commercial deal negotiations and risk management. In 2001, they joined Philips/Intermagnetics as a Product Manager. From 2002 to 2005, they worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a Licensing Associate, focusing on out-licensing and commercializing technologies in the physical sciences area. Peter then joined the Center for Economic Growth as Program Director for Venture Programs, where they stayed until 2011. During this time, they managed technology matching and developed solutions fairs to promote business growth through innovation. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Manager of Technology Matching at the Center for Economic Growth, focusing on matching technologies and innovations with small to medium-sized manufacturers in New York State. In 2013, they joined GTI Consulting LLC as a Principal, and later that year, they joined AWS Truepower, LLC as the Director of Business Development, leading a team in providing value-added services to the renewable energy industry. In 2014, they joined General Control Systems, Inc as the Director of Quality Management and later took on the role of Business Development Manager.

Peter Pritchard obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University in 1987. Peter later pursued a Master of Science degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management, graduating in 2005.
