Kathy (Crankshaw) Muczynski, PMP

Kathy (Crankshaw) Muczynski, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Kathy began their career in 1993 as an Accounts Payable specialist at Woodbridge Foam Corporation. Kathy then worked as a Payroll Administration/Staff Accountant at Pilot Industries, Inc., where they also handled the implementation of finance modules of the Baan IV ERP system.

In 1998, Kathy joined IBM Global Services as a Consultant, where they played a crucial role in implementing Baan IV and Baan ERP for clients. Kathy'sresponsibilities included data conversion, training, documentation, and testing of financial modules. Kathy extensively traveled across the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico for client support.

In 2001, Kathy moved to Optrex America, Inc. (later Kyocera Display America) as an Assistant Manager IT, and later became the Information Technology Manager/Data Systems Manager. Kathy oversaw various IT functions and played a key role in managing the company's network infrastructure, security, servers, backup, disaster recovery, data storage, telecom systems, and asset management.

In 2014, Kathy joined E2B Teknologies as an ERP Consultant, where they provided expertise and assistance in implementing ERP systems. Later that year, they transitioned to American Specialty Cars as the Information Technology Manager. In this role, Kathy had overall responsibility for the IT department and was involved in daily administration of ERP and software systems. Kathy closely worked with other departments to provide automation and process efficiencies, managed the help desk, developed and provided user training, and was involved in EDI administration.

In 2017, Kathy took on a new challenge as the Chief Information Officer at General Data Company, Inc., where they currently hold a leadership position.

Kathy (Crankshaw) Muczynski, PMP obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Aircraft Engineering from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Kathy further pursued their education and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, completing their studies from 1995 to 1998.

In addition to their academic background, Kathy has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In 2005, they achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2014, Kathy obtained the Sage ERP X3 Distribution and Sage ERP X3 Financials certifications from Sage. Most recently, in May 2019, they completed the Python for Everybody certification from the University of Michigan.
