Perla A. is a bilingual Mechanical Engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester. Previously, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Vehicle Protection Systems Engineer at General Dynamics from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for designing CAD models, managing data on Teamcenter, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for military vehicle projects. Perla also gained experience as a Legal Intern at Chad West, PLLC, and as a Research Assistant, where they analyzed oceanic data using NASA satellite observations. Their interests include mechanical design, space exploration, and artificial intelligence.
